Antonio Knoy
Antonio is the 2001 founder of the wildly popular & still celebrated Seattle Sharpening (when he sharpened knives that cooked for a sitting US President), then founded in 2008 Knoy Metal Works, now rated 5 stars on Yelp, Google and "The Facehook."
This team is building gates and railings full time. Also over the past couple decades Antonio has built whole and components of more large scale art projects than can be recalled, climbed on by tens of thousands in an extreme environment. One of these is now hanging in a science center on the East Coast.
Having grown up in the extreme winters and high humidity of Michigan, then to Phoenix with adventures in Mexico around the Sea of Cortez, he gets the range of climate controls a truly versatile camper needs. After moving to Seattle and marrying Rita, they bought & renovated a 40 foot wooden schooner, sailing it around the Puget Sound and with the Capt. Renoud International Schooner Race up the inside passage in 2001.
This experience installing and maintaining marine and work truck systems, as well as shipyard electrical installer experience, has been waiting for this opportunity to come together with a love of materials science, to create, for you!
